Musical Monday Moment.

This week my song of choice is Pages by 3 Doors Down, an American rock band. The song rings out to me at the moment and thought I'd share the same with you guys. The lyrics are underneath for you to have a sing along.

Its been a week since I last posted anything. I did intend on posting more, and indeed I shall, It just takes time to get back into the swing of things. Maybe the key is doing more to report on lol

This weekend (the only time I had done something in the past week), started off well. I went out for a mini night out with my friend James and his brother Peter, checkin out the hotties as all men do single or taken lol Most of the night we were just watchin the telly in the bar, how sad were we. The conversation consisted of mainly sex and porn, because James has a filthy mind and i think hes been without for a while so it is all he can think about.

Saturday, i had the kids and took them to McDonalds and to a kids play group called Barmy Bears. The name describes the kids well, Barmy. I took Rhys, my step son and Kallam and they had mucho fun whilst tiring me out at the same time. Rhys had some accidents in his pants which was really stressful for me because every time he did, i had to collect Kallam and take him with us to change Rhys.... god i was all stressed thinking back. lol

Saturday night i went out for a proper night out. I was mucho tired so wasn't really in the mood to dance or anything, but James managed to pull me up on the dance floor whenever he needed a wolf in his pack to round the sheep on the dance floor. Its a good metaphor when witnessing how men dance around the girls in the bars we go to. I left James to it after a while not wanting to be a part of any of that, plus i can't dance. Might have been me being paranoid, but whenever i was near any girl, their friends shuffled away seeking hotties... With this running through my mind, i took a seat and observed from afar with a beer. James met this short psycho girl and introduced me. I say psycho because she tried dragging me onto the dance floor, complete with nails and had this thing about laying her hands on our faces and squeezing. Weird or what. The night was same as usual and in the end I decided to make an exit and told James I was going. He looked crestfallen as usual but understood.

Got home shortly after and got my key out, put it in the lock and turned. SNAP!. The key snapped. I freaked out and pounded on the door to be let in. My dad woke up thankfully. I started to think he wouldn't as every night he drinks himself into a coma with whiskey and vodka. I was glad to see my bed that night I tell ya.

Sunday was Mothers' Day and also my Mum's Birthday so me and my sister planned on visiting the cemetery that day. I wasn't hungover in the slightest so I was looking forward to taking a walk and visiting her grave. We got there and planted some flowers and a wind chime. It was good to see my brother had visited the day before and left a message from his family. I got a bit teary, either due to the wind or sadness, maybe a mixture of both. I made a couple of jokes to disguise that I was sad like, "Mum would have liked that you are using Cillit Bang to clean her grave, being a cleaner and all" lol Having visited and paid my respects, i felt better for it and happier. After that, I visited my sisters and chilled there for a bit before returning home. I showed my dad the picture I took of the gave and he had a long look at it, I thought he was going to cry or something, but instead he just passed my phoned back and said looks good. He doesn't show his feelings much, just drinks them away. Moreso lately because his partner Jan has gone up to Scotland to visit her Dad for a couple of weeks.

That brings us to today. What will this week hold? Probably same as usual, computer at work, computer at home, TV and bed. exciting times. I need something to happen, or maybe..... I need to make something happen? Any ideas?
See ya

Hey there... I tried to play the video but when I hit the play button it said "THE VIDEO IS NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY OR DOMAIN" grr...tsk tsk... I think it's cute how you took care of Rhys and his little "accident". =) I'm sure most guy would probably not know what to do and pass it on to the next lady or their moms... Anyhow, yeah, well I'm not a good dancer either. I pretty much just sit and watch people dance. hehehehe I know...I can be such a wallpaper sometimes.
So anyways...I hope you have a great week ahead.
